Round 2
Sunny Donnington Park for round 2 of the FSRA British Championship, leathers all sorted and back from Scott Leathers, looking absolutely awesome thanks Jim! Outfit has been prepped and and is sounding great, we have Ben on board and a fantastic team around us, John and Helen Binns and Phil Bridge, oooh and team Boss Miley Binns!!
Timed qualifying, nice and steady, Wayne had some playing with the gearing to do so with a few laps under the belt they qualified 10th on the grid for the race which was coming up after lunch break.
Race 1:- After an incident on circuit the race was re-started and they had 1 warm up and 7 lap race, usually they would get 10/12 laps so it was quite a short race for the FSRA round. All ok in the incident and a cracking race, outfit running well and team working great together…. solid 6th place for Wayne and Ben!

Sunday morning, 10 minutes warm up and the weathers good, cloudy but dry. Race 2…… A busy grid with a few retirements, luckily not us but we did have a slipping clutch so 9th place finish was a result and a few more points in the bag. A brilliant weekend, some awesome racing and we cant believe how well the engine has held up considering it hasn’t done much for 3 years, needless to say its heading off to be refreshed. Many thanks to Phil Bridge for your hard work prepping the outfit for the boys and to Ben and his family for all their commitment to the team which has made us stronger! Really hard not having Louisa with us this weekend as she stayed at home to look after the animals and went to work… missed you like crazy!
TT is our next outing….. fingers crossed for great racing, amazing weather and some memories to be proud of.
